Leading Learning Collaborative Project

The Year 5/6 Class - Success Criteria - visible to students on the classroom wall.

Over the past 18 months, St George State School staff have been ensuring that the knowledge, skills and learning required of students is visible and accessible every single day.

Through the explicit use of our classroom walls we have created "Learning Walls" where the Learning Intention and the Success Criteria are on display, referred to and used every day by teachers and students.

What is the "Learning Intention"? The specifics of what the students need to do - the actual task required.

What is the "Success Criteria"? The criteria that students need to know and be able to do to demonstrate success in the task and achieve the best possible academic result.

We are very proud to be engaging with Lyn Sharratt, a leading educator who is guiding our knowledge and engagement in this important curriculum work - making the learning visible for your child to access.
